Item Description
Mailing envelope w/"Captain Midnight" return address and typed recipient name/address contains complete Ovaltine premium issued in 1946. Envelope shows moderate handling wear and aging. VG. Folder features illustrations of the ring as well as instructions for its use and the Aztec back story behind the ring's design. Folder also shows moderate handling wear w/all over creases. VG. Ring's brass base features elaborate Aztec design and top has small metal clip holding deep ruby red beveled plastic stone which can slide off, revealing hollow interior well to hold secret messages. Salesman's sample as bands have never been bent. Ring exhibits moderate luster wear but is still VF overall. Rarely offered complete w/envelope, let alone as a sample. A premium ring classic.
