9.75x19.5x2" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains complete parts for Ideal game No. 2253-3. ©1963 RKO General, Inc. Box shows lt. wear and remains tight and VF/Exc. 18.5x19" gameboard has great action illustrations of King Kong rampaging through New York and destroying several well-known landmarks. NM. Illustrated box insert has had King Kong double-sided cardboard figure and danger cards w/Kong's face punched out, but all are included. Cardboard spinner remains unpunched. Cardboard well contains four plastic playing pieces and plastic stand for Kong figure. Exc. Scarce game.
