Item Description
Pair of items signed by stars of the 1933 RKO King Kong film. 3.75x4.75" autograph album page has been signed in black ink by Fay Wray (1907-2004), who adds "With All Good Wishes -" inscription. Wray has also added "N.Y. Oct. 1931" note and date, marking this as an early, pre-Kong signature (Wray starred in eight films in 1931, quite the busy year). Sheet has some handling wear w/creases and small tear at right, but Fine/VF overall and still very nice for display. 8.5x11" typed letter is dated May 4, 1945 and authorizes Famous Artists Corporation to receive any payments owed Bruce Cabot (1904-1972) from 20th Century-Fox Film Corp. Cabot has signed in red ink on provided line. Letter has "Pay Roll" inkstamp at top w/various office notations to margins. Folded as mailed w/two pulls at top to punch holes and top left corner tip off. Fine overall. Comes w/JSA COAs.
