Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard window display box contains 5.75" tall "Action Aerating Monster" plastic figure. Penn-Plax Plastics, Inc./Garden City, ©1971. Figure is jointed at waist and has air tube running into back. Designed to be placed in aquarium, tube filling upper torso w/air, causing body to move and release air bubbles. Thin plastic window remains attached as issued and shows some scattered surface scuffs and has 4.5" vertical split at right, but this is only noticeable upon close inspection and is not overly distracting. Box itself has some corner tip wear w/aged tape strips along bottom as issued and some scattered age spotting to top/bottom. Lid has some edge wear/lt. creases but box remains unpunched. VF overall. Aquarium toy is exceptionally nice and clean w/tiny tip of claws on hands present except for three tiny tips on left hand. All claws on feet remain intact. Figure is o/w NM and while original rubberband is missing, figure itself has never been removed from box. A desirable and classic Creature From The Black Lagoon collectible.
