Item Description
Each is a 1" celluloid pin-back made for use in Australia in the 1940s. First w/3-D "Superman" logo is from "McDowells", a Sydney department store. Tiny and faint age to the right and below his figure. Full gloss. Fine. Second was issued c. 1948 to promote the serials starring Kirk Alyn. Various theatre names appear on these with this one being the only one we've seen for "Broadway Theatre". It is the same button we sold in our September 2008 auction. Scattered tan age but unfaded color and full gloss. VG. Last and rarest (1 of 3 we've offered) pictures "Superman" flying and was for members of "The Sunday Mail Comics Club". Aside from some silvering loss on reverse, this is glossy and NM.
