35" long Louisville Slugger "Powerized" Mikey Mantle signature model wood bat has been boldly signed in blue felt tip pen by Yankees legend Mickey Mantle (1931-1995) on the barrel below model name. Mantle began his MLB career w/the New York Yankees in 1951, spending his entire 18 year career w/the Yankees. He was a 20-time All-Star, seven-time World Series champ and three-time AL MVP. Bat is 1985 limited edition issued in recognition of Mantle's 536 Lifetime Home Runs (477/536). Incised "P72" number on knob of bat. While Mantle was a prolific signer of baseballs, baseball cards and photos, he didn't sign nearly as many baseball bats as he did not like doing it. That aversion resulted in a limited amount of signed bats, making this a hard to come by item signed by the MLB HOF member and one of the greatest baseball stars of all time. "Certified Autographs" tag signed by notary w/matching edition number is fastened around bat w/wire sealed w/notary lead seal w/baseball imprint. Some lt. wear to bat and trace wear to autograph, which remains totally legible. VF/Exc. Comes w/JSA LOA.
