Item Description
CAS graded and encapsulated 12" tall Kenner action figure. Figure features head sculpt that varies slightly from production version. These differences are as follows - area around hairline and jawline are notably softer to the touch; boots appear to be from the 12" Luke Skywalker mold, but molded in the more familiar brown; figure also appears to have hand-painted crotch area. The most notable difference is the cloak. Both fabric and color used differ from that seen on production pieces, and cloak has a slightly more "fuzzy" look and feel and features deep maroon color as opposed to the dark brown seen on production figures. The stitching also deviates from production examples in places. Despite all these pre-production differences, figure appears to have all its country of origin and copyright info stamped in place. The accompanying lightsaber also appears to be a final production example. Extremely rare, w/just two or three other examples known. Comes w/CAS Certificate of Authenticity. Comes with notarized Collectible Investment Brokerage (CIB) LOA.
