Item Description
15x22" Bainbridge board contains detailed character designs of "Bruno" for the "Ghostbusters" film by Bernie Wrightson (1948-2017). Wrightson commented on his early film work, "The first thing I did was 'Ghostbusters.' I did some of the pre-production work on that and that was another one of these things that kind of fell into my lap. Michael Gross ran across my stuff in the file and remembered me as this guy who could do this kind of stuff that's scary and funny at the same time. Which is exactly what they were looking for with 'Ghostbusters'." Wrightson was an American artist, known for co-creating the Swamp Thing, his adaptation of the novel Frankenstein illustration work, and for his other horror comics and illustrations, which feature his trademark intricate pen and brushwork. Pencil artwork shows four views of skeletal monster dog standing, rearing, running to and from view. Lt. aging/wear. Exc.
