Item Description
10.75" long tin litho Batmobile w/plastic batwing tail fins. Made in Japan by Aoshin Shoten, c. 1966. Exclusive to the Japanese market. Hood is emblazoned w/"Batman" name in English and doors feature "Batman" comic book title/logo. Tin litho hubcaps have batsymbols. Open cockpit has tin litho upper body/shoulders of Batman w/soft vinyl head. Friction still works and produced clicking sound as Batmobile progresses. Batmobile's body shows scattered faint age spotting to underside w/tiny spot of oxidation to front right bumper corner. Batman figure has some aging to metal portion of body and lt. paint wear to ears of cowl. Batmobile still retains bright and glossy appearance. VF/Exc. overall. Rare in this condition.
