Item Description
Set of 35. Each is 2-3/8x2-15/16". ACC# R36. Portrait photo fronts, text backs. Cards were issued w/five different color bkgs., all in this set are either orange or purple. There are 5 different fictional "Cops" and 30 "Robbers." The back of each robber card features a detailed description of his crime and the Cop cards have a multiple choice question related to which criminal that officer may be pursuing.  Names include: Ranger Colt, Chief Inspector Kennedy, Bruiser Bill, Terry The Terror, Dead Eye Dick, Hong Kong Wow and more. The cards were issued w/perforated "Evidence Tabs" at top but all of these are missing, which is typical. These were to be removed and redeemed for a detective commission and badge. Lt. aging but a sharp and clean set w/minimal wear and overall EX to EX-NM. One of Fleer's earliest non-sport issues. A rare offered set and in fact the first we've auctioned in our 56 years.
