Item Description
10.5x12.5" acetate sheet has hand-painted image area measuring 6.25x7.5" showing iconic scene of Sleeping Beauty in her pink (not blue) gown, dancing w/Prince Phillip as seen at the end of the 1959 Disney animated feature film Sleeping Beauty. Of note, Sleeping Beauty's gown is depicted pink here, as her fairy godmothers Flora and Merryweather were arguing during the scene and magically changing the color of Sleeping Beauty's gown back-and-forth from pink to blue. Cel's paint is fully intact w/just small air bubble on Phillip's cape collar, but o/w cel is in NM condition and comes w/slightly larger hand-painted presentation bkg. that closely resembles the cloud bkg. seen at the end of the scene. This exemplary Disney art would make for a beautiful framed display.
