Item Description
16x20" on uncoated card stock. Poster promotes "In Concert The Band" on Jan. 18 at McMaster University Phys-Ed Complex. This tour marked the group's first as headliners, supporting their second self-titled release. Staple and tack holes, insect damage and staining throughout. Just Good. This one was undoubtedly used to promote the show and is a untouched survivor bearing its scars from the ravages of time. A rare poster worthy of attention by a professional conservator. The Band, led by songwriter Robbie Robertson, made waves in the late 1960s as Bob Dylan's backing band and saw their own success starting w/the release of their first album, 1968's masterpiece Music From Big Pink.
