Item Description
Two strips have been taped together on reverse to a 15.5x20-1/8" size and comprising an entire Sunday page for Oct. 24, 1937. Twelve panel pen and ink illustrations feature Blondie, Dagwood, Baby Dumpling and Daisy the Dog. Story deals w/Dagwood's misadventures involving football. Signed by artist/creator Chic Young in last panel. Second strip has King Features Syndicate copyright paste-over. Lt. handling wear, dust soiling/aging to bottom edge of first strip and bottom margin of second strip. Fine.
