Item Description
Original cardboard mailer contains high quality 9.75x13.25" book w/376 pages from a numbered edition of 5,000 copies printed by Celestial Arts in 1981. This is the first edition hardcover, individually numbered "843." Book features a nice selection of full color Uncle Scrooge reprint stories written and drawn by Carl Barks. Additional material includes a detailed Uncle Scrooge checklist of his Dell, Gold Key and Whitman comic appearances. Leather cover w/gold gilt title and decorations features hand-inlayed color plate reproducing Barks' "McDuck Of Duckburg" painting. Mailer shows expected wear from shipping but book remains NM as issued. This was the first high end Barks reprint book and is a must-have for any Disney library.
