Original release 8x10" still for the 1980 Flash Gordon movie starring Sam Jones in the title role w/two-time Academy Award-nominated Max von Sydow (1929-2020) as Ming the Merciless. Still shows von Sydow in all his evil glory, w/the actor inscribing "All Good Wishes To Michael!" in blue felt tip pen above his signature. Aside from Flash Gordon, Von Sydow is known for his roles in Ingmar Bergman films as well as his performance in The Exorcist (1973) and appearance in Conan The Barbarian (1982), Dune (1984), Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Game Of Thrones and more. Still has some trace handling wear and scattered aging but is o/w VF/Exc. Comes w/JSA COA.
