9.5x13" Whitman No. 978 w/16 pages, each featuring large, full color story art. ©1935 WDE. This is the first book devoted to Donald Duck. Cover shows moderate to heavy wear, w/4-7/8" spine split at bottom w/some chipping along it as well as .75x1" triangle-shaped chip to back cover at center edge. Cover shows scattered staining and is just Good overall. Pages have scattered staining and rust soiling from staples. Last page/back cover shows aforementioned wear and is just Good while remaining pages are VG to Fine overall. Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide notes values as follows - Good = $213, VG = $426. Classic Disney book.
