Item Description
1.5x2-5/8". The 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel set consists of 25 cards. Each card features a full-color art rendering of a player photograph framed by a white border with his last name, home city and league printed along the bottom border. A checklist is printed on the reverse.

Matthew W. "Matty" McIntyre played ten seasons in the Major Leagues with the Philadelphia Athletics (1901), Detroit Tigers (1904-10), and Chicago White Sox (1911-12). He helped the Tigers win the AL Pennant three times, from 1907 to 1909. 1908 was his best season when he led the American League in singles, times on base and runs among other impressive stats. McIntyre may be best remembered as the leader of the "Anti-Cobb" clique on the Tigers during Cobb's early years.
