Item Description
1.5x2-5/8". The 1909 E95 Philadelphia Caramel set consists of 25 cards. Each card features a full-color art rendering of a player photograph framed by a white border with his last name, home city and league printed along the bottom border. A checklist is printed on the reverse.
Carl Frederick Rudolf Merkle nicknamed "Bonehead", was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball from 1907 to 1926. Although he had a lengthy career, he is best remembered for a controversial base-running mistake he made as a rookie while still a teenager.
