Item Description
1-7/16x2-5/8". The T205 issue consists of 209 different cards, although just 198 players are represented in the T205 set- a few multiple poses and some variations account for the higher accepted total. Border graphics of varying types, usually incorporating team logos and equipment, identified the respective league. Facsimile signatures crossed a portion of many ballplayers' depictions.
Carl Frederick Rudolph Merkle nicknamed "Bonehead", was an American first baseman in Major League Baseball from 1907 to 1926. Although he had a lengthy career, he is best remembered for a controversial base-running mistake he made as a rookie while still a teenager.
