Item Description
9.25" overall w/1.75" cello. Lewis Stuyvesant Chanler, a Democrat, served as Lt. Governor under Hughes, but ran against Hughes during the 1908 gubernatorial campaign. Chanler lost a closely contested election for the governorship, while Bryan was also defeated in his bid for the presidency that year. Ribbon has separations and fraying throughout, particularly along the left edge. Fading to ribbon text. Cello has only light wear. Overall Good. A rare coattail badge.
