Item Description
7.75" overall w/1.75" cello. Vertical pin on reverse of ribbon. Additional text reads "Tammany Hall 10th Assembly District". Hearst ran against Charles Evans Hughes in the 1906 gubernatorial race and lost to Hughes in the closely contested election. Hearst had previously held office as a member of Congress prior to his run for governor in 1906. Even aging on ribbon w/some fading to the text. Scattered light staining w/some areas of thinness on ribbon. The ribbon is Fine. Cello has light scattered wear and is Exc.
