Item Description
Window box contains Optimus Prime (Autobot Commander). Hasbro, ©1984. Trademark logo, which is much rarer than the Registered logo. Box has been opened at left/right. Header flap has been folded over w/surface paper separation at upper left corner and white grease pencil price written at upper right. Right side flap has large 5.5" tear w/tape repair and .75" tear at lower right front corner. Window remains firmly affixed to box. Box is VG overall. Contents appear complete Hasbro catalog, instruction slip for removing toy from styrofoam tray, baggie containing Optimus Prime's gun, tires for blue body Roller and black missiles (both remaining on sprues) has aged tape seal. Baggie containing hose, nozzle (regular) and gas pump has been opened. Stickers have been applied to interior of trailer (w/rippling to both sides), but sticker sheet for Optimus Prime figure remains unused. Toy does not feature any of the typically seen defects to figure or trailer and toy is Exc. overall. Among the most desirable Series 1 Transformers toys.
