Item Description
Each is 1.25. Neither has a maker's name but it is very likely the first is by W&H. First is undated but c. 1900 showing a Brownie running w/slogan "Going To Salina Free Street Fair". Unusual coloration of b/w with touch of blue on his cap. Edge has dark stain but not going inward very far. While near microscopic, surface has general wear and at least a dozen very tiny craze lines widely scattered. VG. Second shows Brownie policeman in uniform and with billy club. Text is simply "The Brownies July 27, 1902". Very mild age tone on far left edge. Full gloss. VF. Both the only examples known to us. Rare. See previous and next lots.
