Item Description
7.5x10x11" tall mostly tin litho battery-operated toy. Marx, early 1960s. Toy is among the best designed battery toys of all time w/extremely detailed lithography including weathered facade, cobwebs, bats, black cats, witch on broom inside window, etc. Toy features great array of actions, including jumping cat, light up window w/ghost, front door opens to reveal witch, window shade opens, house shakes, skeleton pops out of chimney, produces both "Spooky" and "Whistling Wind" sounds. All actions are controlled by levers on one side of base and all worked when tested. Lt. aging/wear. A few lt. scratches, tiny nicks. Overall appears Exc.
