Item Description
Pelham original box contains 9" tall marionette of Jimmy Gibson (10 year old boy rescued by Supercar who became part of the team). Box lid is missing sticker "Based on the TV Series Mike Mercury". Other end has lt. rubbing where name stamp was originally. ©1961 Made in England. Box has lt. aging/wear. 1" tear at bottom edge of lid and some lt. creasing. Two small pieces of tape on lid and a tape stains from removed tape. Still displays VF. Includes original generic Pelham instruction sheet w/Pelpup Club offer on reverse. Lt. aging. Exc. Marioinette has lt. aging/wear. Wooden control shows some lt. aging/wear. Composition head and cloth outfit appear clean and bright. Puppet wrapped in tissue paper and has a few string repairs (about six knots) but overall Jimmy Gibson displays Fine. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
