77x77" poster on stiff paper for the original release of the classic 1977 sci-fi film featuring art by Tom Jung, showing Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, R2-D2 and C-3PO w/large image of Darth Vader in bkg. X-Wing fighters attack Death Star at left. This image is cropped somewhat from the one-sheet and three-sheet poster released using Jung's art. ©1977 Twentieth Century Fox. Given its large size, this poster saw an even more limited print run than the three-sheet (see previous lot). Poster was issued in two parts to be assembled and has been folded as issued. Lower right margin has small area of inking along margin edge as made. Poster shows scattered lt. wear along fold lines but is free of any fold crease intersection splits. VF/Exc. overall.
