Item Description
Pamphlets are 5.25x7.5" to 5.5x8.5". Buttons are 7/8" to 2.25". America's Thought Police booklet was published in October 1947 by the Civil Rights Congress. Foreword by Henry Wallace. 46 pgs. Cover has the "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" motif. The Watkins Decision was published by the Emergency Civil Liberties Committee. 54 pgs. "Abolish HUAC" button has tiny cut in cello at 11 o'clock and is VF. Litho "Abolish" pin has scattered surface scratches and small areas of paint loss. Fine. Large pin has cello separation along collet and is technically extremely Fine, but displays above grade. "Everyone Is A Communist" button has light wear and is Exc. Booklets have moderate handling, most notably along the spines, as well as some age toning. Both booklets are VF.
