Item Description
10.75x21x6" deep window box contains Sears Exclusive version; Remco Set No. 649 includes "Seaview" submarine, complete w/both torpedoes on back. ©1965 Remco. Submarine comes w/two separate figures, both complete w/tabs on undersides (as made for display in illustrated box insert). Box has some moderate aging/wear. Corners appear to have glue repairs, plastic window is thicker and appears to be replacement. Rubber bands that held sub in place have a twist tie replacement. Box has lt. staining, small punctures, tears. Box insert has inner bracket and features sign. Box displays well but just Good as repaired. Set does not come w/instruction sheet but o/w contents are complete w/sticker labels on sub. Contents appear Exc. as packaged. Scarce. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
