Item Description
1.25". Originally issue w/a Steiner of St. Louis, MO back paper but this is missing. Classic logo of cardinal on bat with date around this. Bottom center has union mark. This 1931 Cardinals ball club dominated the NL during the regular season, finishing w/a record of 101-53. They would go on to win an exciting seven game World Series, defeating the mighty Philadelphia A's. Trace of aging and surface wear mostly only seen upon close inspection. Still bright and glossy over, VF. A rare Cards button, our last example (with ribbon) was from the Muchinsky Collection and it sold for$1,534 in our June 2021 auction.
