Item Description
1.25". St. Louis Button Co. on rim curl. Shows a flying cardinal on a bat w/pennants for 1926 and 1928 and below is the word "Again." Both of those years the Cards played the New York Yankees in the World Series. While the Cards won in 1926, in 1928 they were swept. The top rim button text is in reference to Charles Lindbergh who in 1927 completed the first solo non-stop transatlantic flight in his plane named "The Spirit Of St. Louis." Glossy and Exc. An exceptional Cardinals button.
