The 1960 Topps Baseball set consists of an astonishing 572 cards. The cards are best remembered for their horizontal design and sun-drenched hues with a large color portrait or pose at the right two-thirds and a black-and-white action photograph at the left. The set was issued in three series (with the final series, numbers 507-572, being the most difficult to secure). The Mickey Mantle card is the key card in the set. Mickey Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1974.
