Item Description
27x41" poster for the original release of the 1962 sci-fi/horror film directed by Joseph Green dealing w/a mad doctor who develops a means of keeping human body parts alive, keeping his fiancée's severed head alive for days. Released as a double feature w/Invasion Of The Star Creatures. Poster is dominated by the titular Brain That Wouldn't Die and Virginia Leith's severed but yet still alive head. Folded as issued, poster has some wear at fold crease intersections including small split at top. Scattered pin holes at corners (in art field, not margins) and some lt. corner wear w/creases. Inked title on back by distributor's inkstamp. Would display Exc. if framed. Michael Lartigaut Collection.
