Item Description
Illustrated 4-5/8x11-7/8" die-cut card contains pair of "Braces For Boys And Girls" by Dunhill, 1940s. Card bears Fawcett copyright and large image of Captain Marvel holds card w/perforated "Official Badge" to punch out. Badge features Captain Marvel portrait w/"Captain Marvel - Shazam" text w/lightning bolts and Fawcett copyright. Card is unpunched but shows some lt. handling/corner tip wear and crease by badge. Small spot of oxidation to one brace clip. VF overall. Top margin has penciled notation, possibly marking this as a file copy example. Designed to be discarded once badge was removed, a complete example of this card is rare, snd this is one of the few we've offered in our 57 years. Harry Matetsky Collection and Shazam!
