Item Description
11x14.75" w/64 pages and stiff cardboard cover. Samuel Lowe Co. ©1943. Repeat front/back covers feature image of boy painting Captain Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. Contents consist of two complete Fawcett comic book stories and page layouts including several full color comic panels to be used as color guides for larger matching illustrations to color. Stories include "Captain Marvel Detective" and World War II-related "Captain Marvel Jr. And The Iron Heel Of The Huns." Book has some margin aging to cover w/moderate aging to spine, which has a few pinch creases, but o/w a very nice copy. Unused and pages have aged to cream in color w/margins exhibiting slightly darker aging. Fine/VF overall. Still a high grade copy of this book. Scarce on its own, but rare in this condition.
