5x10.75" felt hat w/silk-screened design including simulated piping. Each side features a different Captain Marvel image along w/his name and Fawcett Publications Inc. copyright. 1944. White felt has even age toning w/some tiny scattered tan age dots and some creases. VF/Exc. Rare, w/only few known examples. Comes w/3x5" slip of paper w/printed apology from Captain Marvel, noting that the Overseas Cap is sold out, offering the Captain Marvel Iron-Ons in rhyming verse w/facsimile signature.
