Item Description
4-5/8" tall nicely detailed bisque figurine w/movable arms. Made in Germany and distributed by Strobel and Wilken Co. of New York and Chicago. c. 1914. From a set of five Little Nemo character bisques, this is "Doctor Pill" as noted by incised name on doctor's bag held in hand. Small number "40" painted on underside. Figurine shows just tiny scattered trace wear to black coat but is o/w complete and original w/no repairs. Exc. Among the rarest character bisques.
