Item Description
Bilingual blister card contains 3.5" tall Mego action figure, released as part of the second wave of The Black Hole action figure line. While the Disney film the toyline was based on was well-received, there was not enough demand from American retailers for Mego to distribute their second wave stateside. Only retailers in Canada and Italy showed support to the collection, and as such these are the only two countries to receive The Black Hole's second wave. The Canadian version was packaged on a card similar to the first series available in North America (w/English and French text) while the Italian version was sold on a blister card featuring altered art, w/the film's human cast under the Cygnus. Card has been punched. Blister is yellow. No AFA subgrades. The rarest of the any The Black Hole figures and one of the rarest action figures of all time. First we've offered (loose or carded).
