2.5x3-1/8". Set of 24. ACC# R156. Full color card fronts depict scenes relating to the history of espionage from Civil War to WWII, descriptive text backs. A sampling of card titles include: Execution Of Mata Hari, The Buzzing Corpse, Spy In A Death Mask, Allan Pinkerton- Lincoln's Personal Agent. The CGC grades for the set breakdown as follows- 6 EX-Mint(2), 5.5 EX+(1), 4.5 VG-EX+(3), 4 VG-EX(7), 3.5 VG+(6) and 3 VG(5). Set comes w/two wax paper wrapper varieties. Both are about 5x6". One is full color and the other, a rarely seen variety, is blue and white. Same images on each but text differs. Blue wrapper mentions "With Jeepers Creepers Emblems" and text notes how felt letters/numerals were available by sending in wrappers. Both have creases as originally folded. Color has pair of 1" margin tears at fold lines. VG. Blue is Fine. A rare opportunity to acquire as a complete set w/wrappers. John Grossman Collection.
