Item Description
Open box contains 16" long battery-operated Jawa Sandcrawler. Kenner. ©1979 Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. Box has original upper and lower cardboard inserts and has been opened on both sides and tape has been removed. Box shows scattered edge/corner tip wear w/moderate color rubs to bottom panel. Left end flap has .75", 1.5" and 2" tears. Right end flap has .75" and .5" tears. Box has original store catalog sticker on one end and opposite end has shipping label attached to interior. Displays Fine overall. "Wireless Controlled Jawa Sandcrawler Moves Forward And In An Arching Backward Motion To Control Direction." Comes w/sticker sheet backing paper and top sticker framing; top/bottom have separated and dried out. There are five loose dried stickers and two are still attached to the top portion of the sticker framing. Features elevator, opening side panel and ramp and comes w/radio control unit, instruction sheet, warranty paper, battery paper, scarce Star Wars Sweepstakes slip and Kenner catalog. Paperwork shows scattered creases/bends as boxed and are Fine to VF overall. Toy had some function when tested (ran forward) and shows lt. aging/wear. VF/Exc. overall. Rare toy in this boxed condition.
