Item Description
1-7/8" tall. Brass. Unlisted in Hake. Full figure of McKinley with a small loop on the top edge. To the right of his foot is a small brass tab which is pushed causing his hand w/ extended thumb to appear w/ the thumb next to his nose in a derogatory gesture. Unlike the 1880 and 1920 versions of this mechanical, this one carries text on the reverse. The head area is inscribed "Pat Applied For." In raised lettering over the length of his body is the text "McKinley/To Democrats/And/Populist." Only light handling and surface wear. Exc. Only the second example we've seen.
