Item Description
Button is 3.5" w/ union bug at 6 o'clock. Ticket is 3.75x4.5" and is from event dated April 28, 1974. Event was a Campaign Kick-Off for Charlie Smith, and was held at the Dane County Youth Building in Madison, Wisconsin. McGovern was invited as a guest speaker for the rally, and this accompanying button was signed at the 1974 event by McGovern. Ticket has staple marks in center, otherwise moderate handling. VF. Button has only minor wear and McGovern's signature in upper right corner in gold marker. Button is NM. Comes w/ JSA COA.
