Item Description
1.5" to 2.25". Each has light to moderate wear. Large button has minor tucking flaw at 12 o'clock that occurred during production and is barely seen. All are Exc. as made. Mailer was a Pulitzer Prize-winning author who ran for NYC mayor in 1969 alongside Jimmy Breslin. One of the key planks in their platform was the creation of a 51st state, with NYC separating from the rest of New York. Mailer received 5% in the 1969 Democratic Primary, ultimately losing to Mario Procaccino.
