Item Description
Pair of buttons w/same design but in two sizes. No maker on either. Larger is 1.75". Glossy, Exc. The other is 1.25". Spring pin holds rwb ribbon full figure celluloid pitcher winding up. Lt. wear to ribbon, Fine. Button and figure are Exc.  Both are Paul Muchinsky Collection Book Examples.

The Giants swept the 1954 World Series in four games to win their first championship since 1933, defeating the heavily favored Cleveland Indians. "The Catch" occurred during Game 1 of this series, when Giants center fielder Willie Mays snared a long drive by Vic Wertz.
