Item Description
9x11.5" folder contains 8.5x11" loose art copies by a multitude of comic artists. The Academy of Comic Book Arts was an American professional organization of the 1970s that was designed to be the comic book industry analog of such groups as the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. 36 printed pages and cover letter. Contributing to this ACBA Sketchbook were Neal Adams (Batman), Sergio Aragonés, Frank Brunner (Doctor Strange), Howard Chaykin, Dave Cockrum Frank Frazetta,  John Romita Sr., Jim Starlin (Incredible Hulk, Thing, Beast, Swamp Thing and Man-Thing), Jim Steranko and more. Lt. aging/handling wear. Lt. edge crease at top of folder. VF w/Exc. contents.
