Item Description
5.75x9.25x10.75" tall box w/original styrofoam inserts contains 9.25" tall cold-cast statue of New York Jets legend Joe Namath about to pass football, sans helmet. Produced by Salvino as part of their "Football Legends" line c. 1990. Issued in a limited edition of 200. Base features .75x3.25" cardstock attachment that Namath has hand-signed in blue ink. Signature is NM. Underside of base has foil label w/inked "37" edition number. Box shows scattered aging/wear w/inking on lid and aged tape strip/staining. Fine overall. Statue is NM. Comes w/JSA COA.
Best known for his guarantee of a Super Bowl victory over the heavily-favored Baltimore Colts in Super Bowl III, "Broadway Joe" came through w/one of the greatest upsets in sports history. Inducted in Pro Football HOF in 1985.
