Glossy 8x10" photo of George Mikan (1924-2004) in Minneapolis Lakers uniform has been signed in silver paint pen. Exc. Comes w/JSA COA.
6'10" Mikan - nicknamed "Mr. Basketball" - played for the Chicago American Gears of the NBL and the Minneapolis Lakers, of the NBL, BAA and NBA. Seen as one of the greatest players and a pioneer of professional basketball, he was a five-time BAA/NBA champion, two-time NBL champion, 1948 NBL MVP and four-time NBA All-Star. Enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball HOF in 1959.
