Item Description
3x7". Similar to ZT-2 in the Sullivan/Fischer book but this variety features a campaign poem beneath the striking portrait of Taylor. Poem reads "Hurrah! For Our Country,/Hurrah! For Our State,/Hurrah! For Our Leader,/The Good And The Great!/The Man Who Can Boast,/That He Ne'er Lost A Field, And Who'll Stick To The Motto,/'He Never Will Yield!'/We'll 'Never Surrender,'/No Never! No Never!/But Our Watchword Still Be,/'Hurrah! For Zack Taylor!'" Even aging w/a few faint scattered stains. Otherwise moderate handling. Bold contrast on portrait and text. Extremely Fine. A high grade example of this desirable portrait ribbon.
