Item Description
Vintage 4x5" snapshot shows NFL great Otto Graham (1921-2003) in US Coast Guard uniform (Graham served as the head football coach for the Coast Guard Academy, leading the team to their first-ever post-season bowl appearance in 1963). Photo has been inscribed in black ink "To Mya Manning - Best Wishes - Otto Graham." A few tiny flakes of emulsion off upper left margin, but o/w VF. Comes w/JSA COA.
Graham played his entire NFL career w/the Cleveland Browns (1946-1955) and was a three-time NFL MVP (1951, 1953, 1955), three-time NFL champion (1950, 1954, 1950) as was also a member of the NFL's 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time teams. Regarded as one of the most dominant players of his era and one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Member of the College Football HOF. Inducted into the Pro Football HOF in 1965.
