Item Description
11x1.5" comic art board has pen and ink original art page 22 of Defenders of the Earth #2, published by Marvel imprint Star Comics in March 1987. Pencil art by Alex Saviuk and inks by Fred Fredericks, from "Creation" storyline. The Phantom sets a grenade charge while robo-ships attack a volcano and Ming gloats in the last panel in a seven panel page. Top margin has penciled title and page number and some trimming as well as bottom left corner tip. Lt. aging/handling wear. Some aging to some of the inked areas. VF. Ed Rhoades Collection.
