Item Description
Single-sided 9x10.25" die-cut cardboard w/hole punched at top center featuring image of baseball kid eating hotdog w/text noting "Souvenir Of Plankinton's Baseball Schools For Kids" that were held at the Milwaukee County Stadium June 29, July 15, Aug, 17 and Sept. 1, 1954. Events were sponsored by Plankinton Wieners w/large hotdog image at center bearing facsimile signatures of Milwaukee Braves players, including the then rookie Hank Aaron (HOF) as well as fellow HOF member Warren Spahn and Ed Mathews. Evenly aged, cardboard has small spot of surface paper loss to end of ballcap at top as well as some scattered surface paper loss along bottom. Fine overall. Desirable and obscure Hank rookie year piece.

One of baseball's greatest players, Aaron spent 21 seasons w/the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves in the NL and two seasons w/the Milwaukee Brewers in the AL. At the time of his retirement, Aaron held most of the game's key career power-hitting records. He broke the long-standing MLB record for home runs held by Babe Ruth, a record he held for 33 years. Aaron was a 25-time All-Star, 1957 NL MVP, 1957 World Series champion and a member of the MLB All-Century team. Inducted into the National Baseball HOF in 1982.
